Alan, you showed you have yet another string to your bow with an excellently paced warm up set for the Anjuna night on Friday.I was lucky enough to get in 15 minutes after the doors opened to see the set moving through some housey tunes before moving into tracks such as Steve May - Blend Forty-3 and Tilt - Invisible (or was it Paul Van Dyk vs Tilt - Rendezvous - they're the same tune aren't they? ).When I got there at 10.45 there was me and about 2 others, 1 of them who was going for it like it was 5am! By half way through the set the room was starting to fill up nicely and I particularly enjoyed hearing Lustral - Everytime, a perfect classic to drop in a warm up set. The pace started to increase a bit with a couple of awesome house/trance crossover tracks by Santiago Nino and by the time he dropped Max Graham - I know your gone as the last tune the room was packed and the crowd going mental (one guy a little too much so as I tried to save my ears from having I KNOW YOUR GONE!! roared into them). That was a quality set from one of the finest and most intelligent trance djs on the London scene.
